I’m Kyle Britt, founder of MYTHK Sports, and for as long as I can
remember, the water has been my home. Growing up in Cape Town, I
spent every spare moment wakeboarding, wakesurfing, or slalom skiing
with family and friends. Those days weren’t just about the sport—they
were about early mornings on glassy lakes, laughter echoing across the
water, and moments that turned into lifelong memories.
Watersports have always been more than a passion for me—they’ve
been a way of life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing that
passion as an instructor and summer camp coach, teaching kids how to
ride, fall, and get back up again. Watching their confidence grow on the
water reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place—it’s about
freedom, connection, and joy.
Later, I spent nearly four years working aboard superyachts, traveling the
world and seeing firsthand how water connects people from every
background. That experience shaped my vision for MYTHK Sports: to
create a brand built by someone who truly lives the lifestyle, for people
who love it just as much.
I founded MYTHK Sports with a simple goal—to design gear that does
more than perform. I wanted to create products that inspire adventure,
bring people together, and make every ride unforgettable. Because for
me, watersports aren’t just about riding behind a boat—they’re about
building confidence, creating stories, and living the kind of moments that
stay with you forever.
